Storyline:
Han Jun Hee’s boyfriend Koo Yeon Jun died one year ago. She still hasn’t gotten over his death and misses him a lot. One day, she somehow travels back in time to the year 1998 and finds herself as high school student Kwon Min Joo. There, she meets high school student Nam Si Heon. She is surprised to see how much Nam Si Heon resembles her late boyfriend Koo Yeon Jun. Nam Si Heon is outgoing and attractive; girls adore him. His best friend Jung In Kyu develops a crush on Kwon Min Joo. In the year 2023, Joon-hee continues to miss her boyfriend Yeon-joon who died a year ago. She somehow travels back in time to 1998 and wakes up in the body of a different person, 18-year-old Min-ju, and meets Si-heon, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her deceased boyfriend. In-gyu, Si-heon’s best friend, has had a longtime crush on Min-ju.
REVIEW: The kdrama, although a remake of a Thai series (I absolutely didn’t know about) feels fresh. The actors Hyo Seop and Jeo Been have an excellent chemistry and have done a great job playing their roles very well across different ages. The kdrama gives you hope and then takes it away and right when you think it’s gone, the writers give you back the hope again. It’s ofcourse not the usual rom com kdrama, there’s mystery, suspense and thrill, ofcourse with tons of love. The episodes keep you hooked and before you know, you really binge-watch all 12 of them at a go. The locations for the shoot are mesmerizing and you’re in for an overall treat.
